I'm often asked about Accutane, so here's my take.
There's some solid evidence that Accutane will actually biochemically shorten your life span (see figure one)
The side effect profile doesn't seem great (10% get hair loss, ~25% joint pains, ~10% photosensitivity, etc)
From my perspective its a poison that I unfortunately took (of course it was only a temporary fix)
Fixing acne via diet and lifestyle is the way to go.
